Marzano Films Ltd, in partnership with The Helicopter Girls Ltd, provide a premiere turnkey service to the film and television industries for aerial cinematography.


We can co‐ordinate all your aerial requirements and can provide productions with aircraft of all sizes, from helicopters and aeroplanes, right down to the smallest of drones. We own a broad range of state‐of‐the‐art equipment including Alta 8 cinema drones, the Eclipse XL HD and the mini Eclipse. For VFX work we have our own 6 x Red Weapon multicam array for super high‐resolution plate photography and drone mounted Lidar scanning and photogrammetry solutions.

Our crews are highly trained and experienced professionals. All our full sized and our drone pilots have thousands of hours experience and are very at home on a film or tv set.
In 2018 we co‐ordinated aerial filming services and provided equipment and crew for some of the largest blockbuster productions, including Artemis Fowl, Hobbs and Shaw, Jack Ryan, Maleficent 2 and Star Wars.

Marzano Films Ltd is owned by John Marzano who is an associate member of the BSC and has been a Guild of British Camera technicians for many years. As an aerial director of photography with over 20 years’ experience, he has filmed aerials for many of the biggest motion pictures. Some of the most recent credits include Black Panther, recently nominated for best picture for the 2019 Oscars. He has worked with many of the most renowned directors including Sir Ridley Scott and Steven Spielberg. His experience brings an extremely high level of understanding of the complexities of aerial filming to any production.

The Helicopter Girls Ltd, wholly owned by Emma Boswell and Katya Nelhams‐Wright, has become one of the ‘go‐to’ companies for drone cinematography. They are extremely proud of their 100% safety record and are proactive in maintaining that exemplary record. Their equipment is of the highest standards and their pilots are highly respected in the industry. They have provided drone services to a great many high‐profile television and movie productions and recently co‐ordinated drone sequences for the much‐acclaimed Downton Abbey movie.
