Roland Joins Forces With Leading Broadcast Experts At IBC

At this year’s IBC Show in Amsterdam, Roland is collaborating with a number of leading companies to demonstrate video-audio solutions.

Roland and Global Distribution (Hall 7 — stand A55) are coming together to demonstrate industry-leading and innovative video switching solutions for the streaming and live event communities during IBC 2019. Making its inaugural European debut, Roland’s VR-50HD MK II Multi-Format AV Mixer is the next step in the evolution of the industry-leading, all-in-one AV streaming switcher. Easily operated by a single person, the VR-50HD MK II is loaded with productivity features like automating common audio and video mixing tasks, class-leading connectivity, built-in PTZ camera control, and more. The Roland V-600UHD HDR switcher leads the way into 4K, helping live event designers work with 4K HDR setups without making their current HD sources and displays obsolete. High Dynamic Range (HDR) and full 50 Hz/60 Hz framerates provide high-contrast detail, vivid color space, and a smooth, crisp image without blur.

Roland and JVC Kenwood (Hall 12 — stand F31) are capturing the creative vision of video directors, and live event producers. The Roland V-60HD has quickly become the HD video switcher of choice for partner companies like JVC. Select JVC PTZ cameras can be controlled over LAN directly from the V-60HD interface, remote control software, or a USB game controller. The Roland V-1HD is compact and portable but can connect and switch 1080p video cameras, smartphones, computers, tablets and other HDMI video sources with a simple push of a button or slide of the T-Fader.

Roland and Matrox (Hall 7 — stand 7.B15) are changing the way people communicate by letting anyone become a live streaming broadcaster. The Roland V-1SDI is a compact, flexible and versatile video switcher that makes it easy to connect and switch professional 3G SDI cameras and playback sources. Plus, users can broadcast dynamic multi-camera live streams with fantastic picture, sound, and effects.

Roland and Atomos (Hall 7 — stand 7.B15) are coming together to solve problems for visual storytellers and content creators. Roland’s versatile V-02HD is a micro-switcher, scaler and inline video effects processor that replaces several standalone units. Operators can reduce or eliminate time in the editing suite in three easy steps: 1) Attach V-02HD to a tripod. 2) Connect and switch two HDMI cameras.  3) Feed the program output to an Atomos recorder.
